Well there was certainly an upgrade in talent. It’s on the coach who makes 3 million a year to make them be the right players. I guess being the OU basketball coach is the safest job in the world. Can fail not once, not twice, but three times and excuses will still be made
I’m not going to defend missing the tourney 3 times in a row. I’ve said that was a fireable offense. Yes, we upgraded talent from the previous 2 years but it still wasn’t enough of an upgrade. We didn’t get good enough players nor enough of those good players.

We need far superior post players. We need far superior shooters and wings. Our current roster is no better than 8-9th in the Big12. Yes, moser is responsible and I was hoping we’d make a change, knowing full well that we never would.

I would definitely agree on the post player situation. I think we all knew there was trouble in dodge when Godwin was starting

Moser hit the OU transfer jackpot last year. Soares, Darthard, and Moore were great finds. I doubt he does it again.
Those were good players but I would call the jackpot Garrison and the Stanford PG Carlyle, and maybe 3-4 other talented guys that can shoot.

I think realistically speaking with OU’s NIL it’s going to be very hard for Moser to get guys that put up as much production a Soares, Moore and even Darthard.

If KU wants Garrison they’ll get him. OU can’t compete with KU in bball.

Depends on what the kid wants. If he wants to start and get good minutes, OU is the better opportunity. If he’s as much the homebody that has been said, OU again is the right choice.

If that’s it then we re still in a good spot for 25. Feeling more confidant that we can bring in a couple difference makers with NIL supposedly improving.

Otega in an up and down system would prob thrive, Milos it’s all in his head.

Keep JM, Moore, cooper, and bring in Brandon garrison.

Hugley, Luke: Cole a plus.

You feel like anything is imminent with Garrison? Saw he had a no contact tag so I figure he already has a good idea where he’s headed

I think it's plausible that's to allow him to see who OSU brings in as a coach, too.

We’re going to need more than that to make the tourney next season. We need a PG and JM isn’t gonna get it done. If that’s all we do, moser gets fired for missing the tourney 4 years in a row.

Honestly many will disagree but I would like Los or otega to stay for all 4 years. It’d be nice to watch a player develop and stay w Oklahoma all 4 years imo. Just me though

I think it goes without saying you’re going to get more players.
