I've always been a bigger pro sports fan than college for a variety of reasons, but this is a beauty of college-- especially basketball where the rosters are smaller and you get to "know" the players much better. There is such a finality to it when it's over. I know my college years flew by in Norman... I was not happy on graduation day.... I was sad and kind of terrified. And I was just an average joe. For guys like Thomas or even Frascilla-- to pour your heart into a sport your entire life and then for four years in college and to dream the dream... And then it just...ends. I imagine this is a very special time in their lives that they won't be able to replicate.
