Pritchard a Sooner

Let's get Brunk and Terrance Ferguson and save the 4th ship for 2017.
 
Pritchard actually committed during his visit. He did not want it announced though
until he contacted the other schools recruiting him.
 
I'm thrilled to have Payton in the fold, but it's a little unusual for a player to commit this early, isn't it?

I think in the last few years players are committing earlier and earlier. In softball, girls are committing in 8th and 9th grades! But even in football, players are committing a lot earlier, for whatever reason. Maybe just to get it all over with and reduce the bombardment from schools and/or coaches.
 
Someone like Payton can now turn into the top recruiter for the program for that class. That's why an early commit can help.

I really like how he used #takeNotice in his Tweet. That must be making an impact with recruits.

Maybe I'm the only one but what makes this kid so highly rated? Sure his highlights look good but if you told me to watch that film and asked me how highly rated he was, I wouldn't really think he was an OU caliber recruit. That's why I'm not in recruiting though! He didn't look very athletic to me

Looks like he can really shoot the 3. He looks exactly like Jake Sullivan from ISU (many years ago) to me. Great shooters are always in high demand.

Sullivan was selfish. Payton looks like a pass first pg who can shoot it.

Wrong. He could play the 2 but he is a PG.

Doesn't matter to ou though he chose another path.

This kid looks like a more athletic Tim Heskett.

Ferguson is an absolute stud that would be an insane class to pair him up with Payton in the backcourt... Not sure who bunk is??? Big man?

It also shows were still in on 2016 big man Marques Bolden too he's the 27th ranked player nationally according to rivals... Anyone know how realistic any of these guys are? Paytons early commit could help us a lot here!

Ferguson is most likely out of the 3. LK crutch Henson (Pritchard) and hill are working their tails off recruiting
