they certainly aren't overburdened with talent but those kids usually fight hard.

I think that little coach has done a good job with them.

thats the type of effort I'd like to see from our group.
 
If you watched their mid-week loss you wouldn't say that. They are good at 11:00 on Saturday morning when the favorite team isn't ready to play
 
They also got the whistles, shooting 36 free throws in Morgantown. I dream of the day OU gets the benefit of officiating like that against WVU.

A-damn-men to that! OU can't buy a foul on the hillbillies in Morgantown or Norman.
 
They battle like Hell every game. There's no doubt about that. They have less talent than probably everyone in the conference but that coach gets everything from them. I'd love to see OU battle as hard as they do.

OSU was called for 24 fouls. WVU called for 23. Officiating didn't help OSU.

What helped OSU was WVU only shooting 47% from the FTL. OSU shot 87% from the FTL. OSU took advantage.

OSU isn't a talented team. However you don't have to be talented to shot free throws well and play hard.

Yep. Everybody HATES OU and calls games against us. Basketball. Football. Doesn't matter. OU fans always, and I do mean always, think we get the short end of the officiating stick.

Its maddening.

You can call it that if you want, but it's literally every game. Some worse than others, but EVERY game. I stand behind that. Never seen a fan base, especially of a couple of top tier programs (OU bball not being elite, but very good), that feels like everybody is out to get them.
 
I have to give OSU credit. They’ve now beaten both KU and WVU on the road. They’ve played much better than I thought they would.
 
They have really screwed themselves this year... they had big leads on WVU at home, Arkansas on the road, Texas Tech on the road... and lost all 3.

They were up 12 on Arkansas in the second half and lost on a tip-in with 10 seconds to go.... They were up 12-15 in the second half against Tech and gave up 50 second half points and lost to them.. They had a 7 point lead in the second half on WVU and went 11-20 from the foul line and botched that.

They could easily be 18-7 with wins over OU, Tech, Kansas, Arkansas, Florida State, WVU....

Remaining Schedule
KSU in Stillwater
TCU in FT Worth
Tech in Stillwater
Texas in Austin
ISU in Ames
Kansas in Stillwater

They absolutely have to beat KSU at home in their next game, and likely beat Tech at home and they will make the NCAA Tournament..

I see them beating KSU, ISU, Tech, and Texas down the stretch. Losing to Kansas and TCU. 4 out of 6 puts them at 19-12 heading into the Big 12 tournament. They should make the dance because of quality wins if that happens.

Then you aren't paying attention. At some schools every fan boos every call against their team as if they honestly don't believe the call. They appear to believe that their team never fouls. That doesn't happen at LNC.

Also, you can't judge an entire fan base by what is posted on the message boards. But even if you were to make a judgment based solely on what is said on message boards, I can name schools in our own conference where there is a much stronger attitude such as you describe.
