How many of these prospects are we willing to take? I dont think we take more than two more prospects and no more than 1 point. Anymore names feel free to add to the list. Seems like we are still recruiting the post hard, makes me feel like capel wants one more guy down low.

Terrence Jones
Terrence Ross
Calvin Newell
Josh Watkins
Jonathon Lloyd
Gilchrist
D`Carlos Frank
Kevin Noreen
Dieng
Majok

caple said he wants and is trying to get 2 points... im not sure what we'll end up with though...

If we take two points then that means we are passing on a point the next two years if we get two fresh. I would like to think we could get a good point in 2011 if not then for sure in2012

no, what it means is we dont have a point on the team for this season... so we need a starter and a backup... we'd still recruit a point next year too, i'd assume... espescially if we find one better than what we can sign now...

The need is pg, so after NT and CJW if they sign another big ,he should be a major impact player or project with a real high ceiling.

If we take two freshman point guards this year I doubt we will/ are going to be take another till 2012 at the earliest or more likely 2013. We saw how difficult it was to get one in the fall period (Releford, McCallum) with just one 4 year point guard on the roster but with two, it would be nearly impossible Any high level kid is going to want to go somewhere he can play and he is going to see that unless he is a top 20 kid he will be behind two PGs with 3 years left. That is why Releford went to Bama, he knew he could come in there and get the keys early on.

Unless the staff can find two guys they like I expect they will only take one PG this signing guard and let Taylor be the back up. My ideal situation would be to take a junior college point guard and then get a good high school point guard in 2011 (Kyan Anderson out of North Crowley would be my first choice for that).

None of the juco points I have seen excite me at all. Calvin Newell is my first pick followed by LLoyd and then Frank. Would rather get one point and end the class with an athletic freshman post with tons of upside ala Gilchrest, Majok, etc

A recent Scout update ruled out OU for Loyd, I suspect at this point it will be Newell or some other name we haven't heard of for point guard.

I also wouldn't be surprise if we take just one PG and call it a day. If Capel believes/allows/whatever Honore to have an impact as a post he could very well save the ships for 2011.

Newell and Gilchrist added to an already athletic class would really make next season a Fun team to watch! Last season was a tuff team to watch for several reasons one being lack of athleticism.
