Question about roles this year

For anyone that has seen any of the practices this fall:

What position is Garang going to play? Last year he was working outside in the practices I saw, but Doo said he had grown taller.

How has Rick Izzansa looked? is he good enough that you would expect to see him play 5-10 minutes a game in the middle, or is he still a year away?

Is hill working primarily at the 4 or is he working mainly outside?

If Gibson is declared eligible, where will he fit in? the one or the two. I assume he would fall to the backup one behind Harmon, but would he get minutes on the wing as well.

Where are they playing victor (presumably at Doo's spot)?

Thanks and by the way, do we know when any of our recruiting targets are planning on announcing where they are going?

if gibson is eligible then he is a starter (with DH and AR)

i havent seen practice. All my

1. I think Garang we will be a stretch 4. More guard than post but will defend a 4.

2. I think rick is another year away and will ready when Kur is gone.

3. Hill more of a guard than a post. but can defend small 4's any guards in my opinion.

4. Gibson- He starts beside Harmon with AR, Manek and Kur. williams Victor hill, Phipps off the bench.

5. Collins could be any day to months. Better for us the sooner IMO. CJ noland should be within a week, last time I heard.

Coach, can you think of a big Rick reminds you of. Jabari Brown? Kur? Maybe a kid from another team, present or past?

And BTW, do you think Gibson starts ahead of williams? I thought the word was Williams was going to explode this year.

I think we've got a chance to be pretty good:

Gibson / Harmon / Reaves
Harmon / Phipps
Reaves / Williams
Manek / Hill
Kur / Victor

Gibson will start if eligible or at least player starter minutes.

AG I think had some nagging stuff and hasn't been playing as well as I was hoping.

Rick is much thicker than Jabari. He looks better this year than last physically. Haven't seen him play this year to know how much he has improved.

I think either way Gibson, Williams and Harmon all rotate and get lots of minutes. 5th guard spot is up for grabs I'd think.. Phipps or Garang maybe? Reaves will play 35+ min a game at one of the spots.

Manek at the 4 for 35+min, maybe Hill or Garang backing him up.

Kur and Victor at the 5 splitting time is my thought.

Just not sure we can expect much from Rick or Garang for this season.

the only 2 guys to average 35+ at OU under kruger are Senior Buddy and Trae
both 35.4

Good info.. I still think Reaves will be at 35 or dang close.. Manek I bet is closer to 30-32min after thinking about it. He may wear down if he gets much more.
