Late in the game, not sure if it was regulation or OT, a foul was called on a dunk by Nash. The only player in the vicinity was Hornbeak, who was behind him.

I've seen the replay of that play at least 3 or 4 times and I can't tell which ref called the foul? The ref under the goal didn't call it and surely the ref on the same side of the court as the camera didn't call it, so was it the ref by the scorers table?

I think it was the ref by the scorers table, which makes the foul that much more egregious. How he saw a foul there was beyond me. It is the one play in the game I am still frustrated about.

It was very strange because when it happened, I couldn't figure out why we weren't hustling to get back upcourt and score? The ref in position to make the call did nothing different than when you have a made basket.

Very strange.

One more thing, the ref by the scorers table making the call isn't as egregious as if the ref at halfcourt on the same side as the camera had made it because he was behind and had 3 bodies between him and the supposed foul.

So, if it was the ref by the scorers table that makes me feel a little better. :ez-laugh:

The ref on the baseline has the first crack, guy at the scorer's table is supposed to get it if he misses it. Third official (ball side, half court) is supposed to never call that unless someone gets tackled.

It may have not been a foul, but still don't know why Je'lon is trying to even make it look like he is blocking it from behind.
