Just heard from SoonerQuick.

He's stuck in ICU after surgery for a blood clot. He is just under observation at this point, to make sure he doesn't have a stroke.
For some reason he can get on facebook and twitter, but can't get on here with his phone.

Thank you everyone for the well wishes, it means alot. I finally got out Friday and feel pretty good. You really never know how fragile you or your body is until something like this happens. Thanks again!

There was an interesting article on the NY Times health and wellness blog during the healthcare debate chronicling how quickly a persons health usually takes a turn for the worse. Basically that most people are healthy until they are not and how sudden it occurs.
