I read some articles that said Randle will be committing in March. OU was the only finalist to not get an official visit....it doesnt look optimisitic that we will get him but you never know

Nope, it never did.
I'm sure Coach Kruger will find the right guys to put another quality team on the floor next season without him.

Well truth is at one time Randall was very pro OU.. I can remember reading articles on other top recruits and more than one mentioned Randle talking up OU to them.. It may just be that over time Randle has become more enamored with the Rolls Royce programs(although UT being a finalist would debunk that) and the negative recruiting/low attendance has become too much for Lon and staff to overcome. Although if Julius were a closet OU fan and a smart guy at that he would be wise to pay attention to what's going on with our team right now... You never know. Great players want to play with other great players and he may have some elite buddies going somewhere else he wants to play with. That's fine with me, I just hope that there are some good available guys in the late period now that Lon has two ships to work with... I'm like most everyone else, one high school big and one scoring wing and call it a day!

I'm guessing UT or Kansas with UK lingering. That's ok as Kruger has done a good job finding good basketball players that fit his team.

I've been keeping up with Randle as best I can these past few weeks.

And it sounds like he's going to Kentucky..

Over the weekend, an NC State player named Anthony Barber tweeted to someone, regarding Randle, "He's probably going to UK..."

Later that night, Jason Jordan of USA Today, who has followed Randle's recruitment very closely and is a good friend of their family, tweeted that he predicted Randle would go to Kentucky back in September, and "has never wavered on that prediction."

Then, a Kentucky recruiting group broke news that UK's staff heard news over the weekend that made them very confident about getting Randle. Source said staff "would be shocked" if he wasn't in Lexington next year.

Would have been a tremendous catch to land Randle, he could have made OU an instant title contender, and maybe even a top 10 preseason team.

Still pumped about next year, though :woot
