Really happy

Don't get me wrong, I'm happy. We are still undefeated and will be either 1 or 2 in the polls Monday, but I just hate seeing us let team go on big runs mid way through the first half. Clean that up and sweating a 4 point win becomes a double digit win with the starters getting rest. I still think out starters are playing too many Minutes and I worry about them wearing down yet again this season

I can see this being a concern too. Hopefully we will blow some of the middle and lower B12 teams out and LK will sit the starters early. I'd love to see Buford, James, etc see plenty of conference playing time to season them for next season .

I'm excited about the win, but I'm talking about five or six lay-ins, plays where we'd beaten the ISU defense and were right at the basket and we missed.

Spangler's fastbreak miss. Jordan's transition miss that would have given us our first second-half lead. Two or three drives by Cousins where the ball just missed going in (and another one by Walker, I think).

Those had nothing to do with who we were playing (or with crimson glasses); they were point-blank shots that we just missed.

I'm not gunna lie, when Spangler whiffed that layup, then dropped that pass all alone under the hoop, I laughed. Thinking back about the big 12 tournament.

I also laughed when ISU missed the wide open 3 at the end. hahahah!

Did you laugh when he had his arms up in victory after you blew a double digit lead?

Good game but don't come over here with that B.S. You are and will always be Iowa State (little brother to Iowa). We will always be Oklahoma.

You have posters on CP that actually believe ISU is better than OU all time as programs. Lol look at total wins, head to head, post season appearances and wins, NBA draft picks and get back to me.

See you in Aimes.

You should have seen the smile on my face when the final score was posted. ;)

Seriously, this was a great game by two of the best teams in the country! OU won this round. Can't wait for round two.

Glad you stopped by CP! Try to do it again anytime you're in the neighborhood.

And when George Niang, who had a darned good outing, stepped up to the line with a chance to tie the game with 3:31 left and missed the front half of a one-and-one? Oh, my sides!

I think he really disappointed Fran Fraschilla, who thinks George is just the dreamiest, with that one.

Talk about splitting sides! You're on a roll tonight, Sky.

Lol. I'm not sure about all that, but don't act like it wasn't a great game between really good teams.

My point is ISU didn't play they're best game either. Some have said they played their best and we played our worst. That's simply not Tue

They played REALLY well. McKay made FTs, Thomas hit 3s, Burton looked like the good Niang, and Niang was amazing. Morris was solid on both ends.

We're an extremely talented team on the offensive end - hoping we can get back to our FG % defensive ways but whatever happens the rest of this year it's gonna be a fun ride.
