Recruiting Notebook: Karviar Shepherd, Jordan Mickey and Treshawn Bolden

Will Jennings and I both caught up with three Sooner targets in Kansas City this last weekend.

Karviar Shepherd and Jordan Mickey out of the DFW area have long been mentioned as Sooner targets but Treshawn Bolden out of a Mississippi is a new name for the class for 2013.

Also some random tidbits on a few others, including what looks to become a Bedlam recruiting war for many of the top prospects in the Sooner state.

Where do you project Shepherd to end up in the rankings - top 100 kid? Is it true that Jordan Mickey is related to former Sooner football TE, Joey Mickey?

Here's a scouting report on Woodson by Brian Snow:

Quick Take:A massive center with great hands who can really run the floor, Woodson wasn’t on many people’s radar before the AAU Nationals in Orlando. The class of 2013 center has a good touch out to the mid-range, and is strong enough to be a major factor on defense. He needs to develop more back to the basket but Woodson definitely impressed with his play.
