8 points in the fourth quarter and 2 in the last 5 minutes- Sherri rescues defeat from the jaws of victory. When you only play 7 and the other team plays 10 no wonder you run out of gas, 2 starters played all 40 and 1 played 38 minutes.
When is it enough Joe C?

For certain not before June 2024 when her contract expires. And a renewal or extension is not above reality. It is what it is and Colton is not ready to take the job. Which I think is the master plan. JMHO.

I wondered why Tot didn't play more last night, but on the other board someone mentioned that some of the players actually had Covid19, so maybe she was still recovering? If not, SC has some explaining to do, even though TV actually didn't play too badly. How are we going to develop our posts (Greer) if they don't get more opportunity out there?

I watched the game and we had it. Possession of the ball with 21 seconds left and a 1 point lead, inbounding when Madi was called for what I swear was her 3rd offensive foul, fouling out. That gave ISU the game. I felt the officiating was very one-sided last night and was almost expecting a horrible call like that in the event we were winning late in the game, and sure enough it happened. Point blank even with only 7 players that was a game we desperately needed, and should have won last night. Moving forward looking at the schedule I see potential to win some games we aren't expected to win, considering how unpredictable the conference has been lately, however if we actually will is an entirely different matter. I am debating even watching Baylor this weekend, they're a much harder match-up than ISU, IMO.

I’m starting to think it comes down to coaching vs recruiting at this point, ISU signed there 1st top 20 recruit in this 2020 class, yet year in and year out there near the top half of the big 12... seems like other schools can bring in diamond in the ruffs, and they still develop, that just doesn’t happen at OU...

Fennelly does a far better job of effectively implementing his system than Sherri does hers. That is part of coaching.

SC doesn't realize she's got to bring in DI talent in order to effectively run an offense and more importantly a defense that will amount to a successful team. She throws her hands up on the sidelines when they botch a play, as though she were in shock. What else would anyone expect with the overall level of talent being so low? Even more importantly, now that Greer is academically ineligible moving forward, how can anyone expect 7 players (only 2 being true D1 talent imo) to win more than a handful of games? I think we are dangerously close to cancelling the rest of our season at this point and it's all on SC!

I’ve always thought that when it came to just X’s & O’s, Fennelly was the best coach in the league. Recruiting to Ames, Iowa is his bugaboo.
