Balbay's case is interesting because he was injured during his frehsmanp reseason, however, was cleared later in the year to play. At that point, he would of burned his redshirt, but he was suspended due to NCAA amateurism issues. NCAA may not take too kindly to that.

Fact is, how do you sit Matt Hill on Senior Night?

Pretty crappy. A dead ball usually occurs within the first 2 minutes so not a big deal if they start the game and play for 2 minutes or less then they go out.

I had this happen to my sister last year. Her team was ranked #3 and she was the only senior. She was 1st one off the bench her senior and the 4th leading scorer and 2nd leading rebounder. She also started half the year her freshman year and was a solid contributor her soph and jr years.

Our whole family was ready for her to start and by everyone's surprise, she didn't get to start. Needless to say our family was pissed. My sister wasn't upset about it but it is still bush league to do that to someone. Especially if they are the only seniors.
