He always had a pretty good jumpshot, but he looks to have really worked on it over the last 2 years. 28pts/8Reb per game shooting 55% and 50% from 3, there are worse players sitting on NBA benches.

He needs to be on an NBA roster!! He's better than several players sitting on current NBA benches, including some sitting on our beloved OKC bench.

I would love it if my Lakers had him. We need all the help we can get...and I do think he could help.

I don't watch the D-league. Would a D-league team beat virtually all college teams on a consistent basis?

I think people sometimes underestimate how difficult it is to crack an NBA roster. There are only 450 total roster spots available. When you factor in that the vast majority of those are committed to players with long term deals making huge amounts of guaranteed money, the opportunities for a late 2nd round D-league guy like Ro are severely limited.

I'm not saying Ro isn't deserving or talented enough to make a go of it in the league. Unfortunately, the realities of that business don't work in his favor.

I would qualify this with "if they were coached up." D-League ball is glorified AAU (look how often Osby is wide open in that video). Take a team like Wisconsin, Duke, Kentucky, that have great players AND top notch coaches, and no one in the D league would beat them consistently without some coaching and discipline.

Have you watched any d league games? I've watched a few Blue games and the quality of ball doesn't look that great. I think the higher end college teams could definitely hang with d league teams

Exactly. You could find the same type of highlight reel for the majority of kids that play in college.
