That is the general consensus. Plus all the talk of how hard he works the guys in practice. And here I thought I would be the only one up this late!

We need to keep getting better with every game. I know there are going to be some losses, and probably some real bad losses. Hopefully we can give him some help next year.

I can't wait for him to play!! I know I might be dreaming, but looking forward to next years team, I can't help but get a little excited.
1. Carl Blair-looking better each week. If he gets in better shape(maybe a little quicker), he won't be beat out by a frosh next year.
2. Fitz- I am more impressed every time I see him. Could be one of the better bigs in the Big12 next year.
3. Pledge- looks great one game, like crap the next. More consistent next year? I think so.
4. Osby- If he is as good as advertised, team scoring should be much better. Sounds like a guy that can get it done inside/out. From his highlights, looks like easily our best athlete.
5. Cam- If he gets more aggressive, another all Big12 player.
6. The Bench- Goff, Tyler Neal(whom should improve greatly), Newell, C.J. Washington(who I love), and Nick Thompson, + hopefully a frosh PG.

This is a team that could get us back to the dance. Am I over-optimistic because of back to back wins? Yeah, probably. But I dont care. This is the best I've felt about hoops in months!

I cant wait to watch Osby play. His attitude and hopefully his production should ease the loss of Cade.

Let's hope he has an impact a lot like more Udoh and a lot less like Ryan Wright (no offense to Ryan).

There is a lot of pressure riding on this kid to turn the program around. I hope he is up for the challenge.

Romero has been the team's biggest cheerleader since the season started. He's the first player off the bench to fist or chest bump his teammates when they leave the game. I love his attitude! He looks like a natural born leader to me.

I don't think I have ever seen an OU player be that animated on the bench before.You can probably say Johnny Gilbert but so far Romero goes bonkers everytime something good happens lol. Love seeing it nonetheless. :woot

The Big O was one of the biggest cheerleaders on the bench and couldn't play worth a flip. I agree with BT. The kid better play up to his hype next season or it will be strike three for JC.

Certainly not a slight to Osby here, but you must be too young to remember the 88 Final Four run with the cabbage patch, and Tony "Hawk" Martin going crazy every time we scored. Of course, we had a lot more to cheer about back then so I'm sure that helped to keep the bench fired up.

Not quite the same kind of cheering but I also used to like to see Sampson's bench all lock their arms late in the game when we were shooting free throws to win or clinch the game, which happened a lot under KS. The camera would always pan over and they would all have the arms locked and all seemed to be a team of players that really cared for each other.

I really hope this guy is a great player for OU but I don't understand how a guy that only played 13 mintues a game averaging just over 4 points and under 3 boards a game is going to be an all-conference type player.

I also find it very odd that OU lists his projected 40 minute stats on the official web page. I hope he does score and rebound like that porjection but it just seems strange.
