RPI as opposed to RIP

In the past three games, OU has gone from #80 to #45 in the realtimerpi.

The rpi is beginning to look more like it should as teams begin to play teams that aren't #335. OU is up to #42 and rising, at least until the Texas game. I doubt that a loss would hurt in that game. Teams that were 9-1 and 10-1 are finding conference play a bit more difficult.

OU is in the top 40 of the RPI with a schedule strength that has ranked around 4-7 in recent days.

Why they aren't receiving Top 25 votes is beyond my powers to comprehend. If OU wins 8 of their next 15 games and wins one game in the conference tourney, they will be in the Dance.

I view the chances of that happening (or better) as better than 90%

Suddenly, the Big Twelve conference rating has moved from #4 to #1.

OU is up to #29.

TCU is up to #87.

But, TCU is picked over OU 76-71.

The beauty of the Texas win was that the realtimerpi picked Texas 70-59. What, exactly, was the score?

Maybe they're dyslexic over there... :)
