Illinois under Weber is on a very clear downward trajectory.

There's been zero discussion of either Weber or Kruger and Mizzou.

Steve Alford and Tubby Smith are both supposedly having their agents put their name out there for the Mizzou job now for basically the same reasons. None of these guys have a shot at the job, but they'd love to make it look like they did.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if he's doing that to draw attention to himself. This is the same guy who cried foul and whined like a baby when Eric Gordon switched his commitment from Illinois to Indiana a few years ago.

How do you spell relief? Learning that Weber to OU was nothing more than a rumor.

Pearl is the best guy out there. Mizzou is not smart enough to hire him. Even though they went 8-8 in the Big XII, got blown out by 15 in the NCAA, just had their coach abandon ship & have only been able to field 2 4 star recruits during the Anderson era they think they are the Boston Celtics.
