Ryder Cup

Camp are you killing it in Dallas? Man I have some stories from that town. too easy

Dallas has tons of talent, why anyone in their mid to late 20's would live anywhere north of the Mason-Dixon line is beyond me.

In truth, Phil played well the entire weekend. His loss was less of a "choke" than what Rose did to win the match. The point is that Mickelson didn't come through when his team needed him the most. While it's true that he made a par on 18, he wasn't on the green with his approach shot. That gave him almsot no chance of making a birdie on a hole he had to win. The cup was lost when he couldn't do more than get up and down for par.

I have my doubts if Tiger would have birded 18 if it had counted for something. He was absolutely awful in his first three matches, as bad as you can imagine one of the best ever could possibly be. This was not the dial up a shot or putt anytime he needed it we have been accustomed to over the years. Davis Love's mistake as the captain was to continue to pair Tiger with Stricker, who was even worse. Those two went 0-3 in their matches if that tells you anything.

Saying tiger was awful in his first three matches is a bit of a stretch..Saturday after noon he birdied 5 holes on the back nine. And Friday afternoon he ran up against a team that had a guy Birdie eight holes and eagle another.
