Anyone else feel like we beat Saint Louis if we play them again, neutral court or not?

We are so far ahead of where we were when we played Saint Louis.

:clap:clap:clap;)

St. Louis is a really solid team who was on fire that whole tournament.

They played out of their minds against us. Just looked fantastic on all fronts. Their big was hitting all of his shots.

If they did that again, they would beat us again.

I will say that two weeks of practice since that game has given Kruger and staff a ton of invaluable teaching time and time for this squad to continue to learn the system.

Do I think we can beat St Louis? Absolutely.

If we did lose, I don't think there is anyway we get beat by 20. But I see that loss as a learning experience. We're a much better team now, and I believe losing that game had a lot to do with it.

I'm still not sure if we've really played anyone good or not, and we really might not till conference play. But that's a good thing for the confidence of this team anyway. Houston game next week might be a tough one. I really don't know a lot about them other than they beat Arkansas. Cincinnati game got a lot easier losing their bigs but that'll be an interesting road test. But Missouri might be the first real tough game we play. Then Kansas is right after that. If we start of 3-2 the first 5 games in conference play, we are on the right track to be a possible NCAA Tournament type team.

Saint Louis was definitley the only solid team we have played so far. Arkansas and Oral Roberts are good but not solid teams. Our first real test will be @ Missouri. If we ride out of Columbia 12-1 then say hello to a well deserved top 25 team. Then we are legit.

I was at the game vs. St. Louis. OU was a bit flat and St. Louis was playing lights out, hitting every shot. Seeing Rick Majerus on the sidelines, you knew they were well coached. I love this OU team and coaching staff!

I'll feed those unicorns as I gaze upon your Final Four banners.
