i know this team is horrible & that loss last night was embarrasing (but i didnt get to watch someone inform me of how it looked please & dont be too mean) BUT it IS Cade Davis' last home game as a sooner! he has been here for 4 years stuck by capel in everything & has worked the hardest out of ANYONE for the last 2 years. He has givin his all for OU basketball so if you all can make it out there saturday to at least support him, because there will be plenty of open seats please do. i think it would mean a lot to cade.
im sure going to miss him! :cade

I don't get to make very many games anymore because of my hectic work schedule, but I will be front/center at the LNC on saturday just to honor CD. That kid fought, scratched, and clawed like a warrior last night, only to have his team quit and hang their heads.

Never has he been a me 1st guy, he's of the highest character, and the kid has given everything that he was born with to becoming a better player. I would look for at least 1 Cade Davis in every recruiting class!!!! I don't care if they come from a home schooling league, you can't teach that kind of heart/committment.

..... About last night, you don't REALLY want a recap. It was so bad, that I have already had 2 nightmares about it. All that you need to know is that Cade was being Cade, while evryone else took the night off. This one is/was on Jeff Capel, 100%.

He has really gave his all this season and is setting a good example for these young kids. It's going to be tough loosing him.

I just hope that I dont have to watch him cry after a loss like Tony Crocker last year. I want us to win this game on Senior night more than just about any game during the Capel era, just for Cade's sake.

There's only a couple of careers in recent history that can stand up to Cade's. 4-year guys that put their heart into OU, played hard and improved every year. Eduardo Najera, Hollis Price and Tony Crocker come to mind.

Agree.

here is what you need to know about last night. I went to fox and the hound to watch the game and have a beer or two, then around 7 (tip off was 6:30) i was throwing back shots trying to erase my memory

As for Cade, he is one of my favorite sooners and i really wanted better for him this year. None of it is his fault, but his legacy has to pay a price for it

David Godbold as well. Cade's not the best player but he's what this team needed to keep it from completely falling apart.

I have to disagree, he might not be the most talented player, but he is the best player on this team.

And I am really worried about next year without his leadership

Nobody lost it like Beau last year. I am sure Cade will cry cause he is very passionate about OU but hopefully if he totally loses it someone will take the mic and not let him hang onto it for 10 minutes completely sobbing through the hundreds of speakers in the arena.
