Call Blake Griffin...just to touch base, get to know.
that would be a mistake right now. Blake is mad.
We all love Blake Griffin, but why should anyone care if he's mad? If I were the new coach at a program, one of the first things I would do is reach out to the former players.
Why should we respect his feelings and give him a little space until this cools over?
:facepalm :facepalm :facepalm
Jordan Woodard is a higher priority for the future success of OU than Nino in my opinion.
Who is Jordan Woodard? Do you mean James Woodard the 2guard from Edmond?
Well I would hope Blake would act like a mature adult and not a whiny baby...
Totally agree. How dare he be upset that his college coach and good friend got fired. I know if I was in that situation, I would be totally objective and not take my friend's side. Especially, if I was still a 22 year old.
Blake loves OU and will come around. He is a good ambassador for the school. We cannot, however, expect the Capel firing not to affect him emotionally.
Did I say he couldn't be upset his friend and coach got fired?
No. I just said he shouldn't be a little b*tch if the new coach decides to call and introduce himself. And unlike some of the posters here reacting to this hire, I'm sure Blake could handle it.
That still doesn't explain how Coolm suggesting respecting Blakes feelings and giving him space equates to Blake being a whiny baby or a little b*tch.
Call Blake Griffin...just to touch base, get to know. Maybe Eduardo.
If Blake can't handle being introduced to the new coach, that would make him a whiny baby.
That said, I'm almost positive he could handle it.
