Scout.com reporting James Johnson to visit OU later this month

Johnson’s father said Arizona and Arizona State are receiving unofficial visits this weekend. The following weekend (August 24), Johnson is on the move again. He’ll trip to Oklahoma and Oklahoma State.

I agree, capelfan. I really want this kid! I watched a fairly lengthy video on Scout this morning and came away impressed. JJ has some big time skills. He's an energy guy, tenacious and tough on the boards and in scoring the ball in the low post. He plays (and looks) a lot bigger than his listed 200 pounds. He has a nice touch to 17 feet, and he can shoot it from deep. He made at least two threes in the video I saw, plus he displayed a repertoire of post moves and an ability to score with either hand inside.

It appears that Coach Capel has made Johnson a primary target in the 2010 class, and I can see why. I hope he and his father are blown away on their visit to Norman later this month.
