I thought he looked good yesterday. He looked like he was on his way to kicking his drug habit. I hope he gets back in coaching, maybe on the small college or high school level.

He did look good.

I think he will land as a D1 assistant or head coach at a small D1. His knowledge of the game has never been an issue.

I hope he has beaten the prescription meds.

I bet James Dickey can get him on as an Assistant Coach at Houston. He is also good friends with John Pelphrey at Arkansas.

Who cares about him? I hope he's never allowed around kids again. He forfeited that privilege. Just like his worthless old man. Chugging whiskey and peeing outdoors at an elementary school.

They are trash. Through and through.

Oh good Lord get over it.

Let's not pretend...every one of these "kids" has seen or done as much if not worse themselves...and probably encounters this type of activity every family get-together.

I seem to remember Blake Griffin getting busted peeing on campus. Is he trash? Want to get bent out of shape over that? People make mistakes.

Wow, heaven forbid anyone around you or anybody in the OU family goes through personal issues ever. I understand the dislike for OK State but there is nothing wrong with hoping Sean gets his life back in order especially since he's a father.

It must be amazing to never have made a mistake or handled adversity in a negative way.

Sean Sutton is an exceptional assistant coach. When he left OSU there were rumblings about him joining Rick Barnes staff at Texas. He has some good connections in the basketball world. I hope he continues to get healthy.

I was as big a Sean basher as there was out there; however, now I see that his strange behavior was brought on by an addiction. If what Kelvin said was true during his NCAA hearing then I am still not a huge fan of either Sutton, but at least with respect to Sean I hope he can pull his life together for the benefit of himself and his family.

You guys act like the Suttons are Robert Downey Jr. People who can get their act together enough to continue their career without posing a risk to others.

Not the case. They are free to try and correct their appalling behavior but based on their age and outrageous acts the statistics say they are virtually guaranteed to resume their previous conduct.

No credible organization responsible for children will employ or even allow them contact with the kids under their care. Let them launch a private basketball clinic and we'll see who shows up.

Boca, I have seen good people become addicted to drugs and alcohol. Their lives were a mess and the drugs and alcohol took complete control of just about everything. But, with their determination combined with good counseling and therapy they were able to overcome their additions and are great people once again living normal lives. To condemn someone for past mistakes when they are doing everything they can to straighten out their lives is very immature. Not once has Sean denied any of this. He has admitted his mistakes, apologized to everyone who he has let down, and is paying a huge price for those mistakes. He certainly deserves a second chance.

Second chance sure. But nobody with a brain will allow that second chance to be around kids.

If he is really this great basketball mind an NBA team will snap him up like they did Sampson in a nanosecond.

I would also guess the friends you mention were not middle age or elderly men, but young and formative.
