How many of you have season tickets? I know I can see the prices on soonersports.com, but I'm wondering how much you pay all in each year including donations, etc?

Also, I don't see a discount for recent OU grads. That's unfortunate as I think maybe more young professionals would buy them if there was a good discount for the first couple of years

That would make too much sense. The Big Red Corporate Machine disapproves.

I have season tickets.

In section LS7, each seat takes a $250 donation (per seat / per season), plus the season tickets are over $300 each. Therefore, each season ticket really costs over $550. This is one of the "cheaper" donor sections.

It is my understanding that one section over (LS8), the donation increases to $500 per seat, plus the cost of the season tickets.

A friend of mine has center court seats and the annual donation for those seats is $1,000 per seat. Plus, the ticket prices are higher in those center court sections, at about $500 each.

I checked on season tickets earlier this year. Behind the goals in the lower level required a donation of $250/seat. Along the sidelines required a donation of $500/seat. The RE sections, the chairbacks that are a slightly different color and way down low, require a donation of $1000/seat.

Nevermind that we just polished off our worst season in 30 years.....

Wow, so basically at a minimum, I'm looking at over a $1000 for two season tickets. I'd love to make that work, but i'm not sure how economically feasible that is for someone just graduating.

Btw, thanks guys for the input. Appreciate your help

You can get a pair in the upper level in the corner for under $500. And it would even be cheaper in those sections behind the goal. It's when you want to sit in the lower level, and even the cushioned seats in the upper level, that they start tacking on that donation fee that ranges from $250-500 and doubles the price.

I used to have a pair in LW3. You had to make a $500 donation per seat plus $500 for the each season ticket in that section. Luckily, I had the donation fees waived due to Sooner Club points built up from football donations. Still, $1000 for two seats is getting up there. Even for those prime lower level seats.

This year I just bought the cheapest tickets through OU and then moved down at the under 16 minute timeout.

You can get a much better bargain in the upper deck. I'm sure there are upper level sections that do not require any donation.

There is not a bad seat in the LNC

Ok, I understand now. Thanks again guys.

Seats in the upper level are not bad at all considering how many home games we have. Discounting seats with donations tied to them makes very little sense.

I had season tickets the last two years in the upper deck endzone and they were between 300-400 for two seats and not required to make a donation...

If you get sideline upper deck you are required to give a donation...

This is true. I had upper level season tickets in the 90's and early 00's before I moved out of Oklahoma. The price wasn't bad at all and I really enjoyed the seats.

As others have said, the LNC has great sitelines, so you really won't find a bad seat in the house.
