Setting the Record Straight

I told myself never to get in these boards, because people are clueless. But there are things in here recently that are outrageous that players and parents see. So, I’ll say this as a parent (Keziah’s) and then see myself out.

ALL of the girls love each other. Any talk of locker room trouble is completely false. There never was an ounce of locker room trouble this year. They are all thick as thieves, and hang out every day. Vann too!
Transfers are not here working out. They’re still students at their schools. The coaches don’t know who will be near the bottom of the bench or starting yet. Practice players definitely don’t know. And the girls don’t care!

We have a very solid group and many rotation options. They are young and they’re friends. But calling players cancers and other outright lies is inexcusable. These are OUr girls. Do better.

Thank you for clearing things up! We had someone in here lying saying practice players were saying Keziah and Keeley was towards the end of the bench as of now (Which I knew was a lie immediately) just making things up is silly.

Thank god you had the courage to set these people straight. We also have people slamming the coaches in particular the head coach. You wouldn’t think that this was a board for non OU fan. The women’s team is one of the highlights of our sports program both on and off the court. Amen

I’m guilty myself of being hard on the team. But nobody wants to win more than them and the Coaches. All message boards are a bit critical, especially with Oklahoma standards. I just couldn’t believe some of the things I was reading. Overall, I love the support they’re getting and even suggestions to make them better. They all love the fans too! And I’m going to get out of here after today.

This is exactly the way I have viewed this program since JB got here. Oklahoma, regardless of sport, emphasizes family and that’s what I want to see and enjoy and that’s exactly the way I think things are. One reason why we have been successful has been because they are close, they play for each other, and they play as a team.

Big year for Keziah coming up mark it down .
