Found a couple of recent videos of Shaina playing. Not sure what the competition is like, but she appears to be incredibly athletic and can shoot the ball! Much different than some of the players we have had previously. I think she could be an impact player for OU. She is #14 in the videos. The other girl highlighted is Laeticia Amihere, who ESPN has ranked as the #3 player in the 2019 class.

Also, here is a recent interview. Comes across as a very intelligent and well spoken young lady!

I like the video best that I saw showing her on defense. She keeps getting in front of the offensive player, cutting off her path.

I wished we had both. I think the big girl would start day one.

I see that Prospect Nation has an emblem in her blurb that indicates she is the #5 Prospect.

#5 in what group?

Thanks. Now, I have to find out which team she plays for.

I am assuming that it is Durham Elite since she plays for Durham Prep.

It is worth watching this game. Pellington is THE star of Canada. The US won behind people like Davis (Tennessee recruit that we wanted) and a host of US stars, about 90-78. But, Shaina could penetrate at will.

Again, tell me Amihere and Shaina are best friends for life.
A 6-3 forward who can really dunk.
A super athlete at 4 is the biggest gaping hole on this roster overall, and ever since AT left.

This^^^^^

Did anyone watch the video?

Pellington is really fast, should see some minutes early next year, and could challenge Tatum for the starting point guard spot in 18-19... also Davis going to Tennessee looks more like a power forward then a guard or wing, she could have easily started at the 4 for this upcoming season...

Exactly.

If Sherri can establish a true Canadian pipeline of elite kids, that works for me.
I don't care where the elite kids come from, but she needs one real pipeline to compliment
in state kids.
Admittedly that in state pool looks as good as ever, but just like Bob needed California kids to add to the mix of Ok/Tex kids Sherri needs another territory that she can rely on.
California/West Coast was very generous to Sherri for awhile.
There was hope Illinois could be a territory at one point.
Pam seems to have some Florida/GA connections, but they have been inconsistent.
Just like getting elite talent from Texas has been tough lately.
