What a horrid night for Booker. He needs to forget about that one and move on. This team needs him to be a guy who knocks down open shots off the bench and plays with energy.

Frank had one of those nights when it seemed that nothing he did was right. In part, I think that was because he began to force up shots and try to make things happen, instead of letting the game come to him.

He's a smart kid, so I feel sure he'll shake that one off and chalk it up to a bad experience.

Interesting that Austin Mankin came into the game before Booker, and played more minutes than Booker.

Mankin had zero turnovers in 12 minutes.
Booker had 4 turnovers in 10 minutes.

Booker is shooting 30% overall and 23 % from 3. Looked like he was trying to force things last night. Woodard is 1-15 from 3.

It wasn't just a bad night. He's been pretty bad all season so far. He plays with a lot of energy but he needs to stop just jacking up shots. Kruger rightly pulled him out of the game in the first half when he just threw one up and he was more disciplined when he played in the second half but right now, he's either turning the ball over or jacking up a bad shot, which basically amounts to a turnover.

He was 2nd on the team in shots taken against Butler, for example. That should never happen. He's a role player whose job it is to take open shots when he's in there, not to jack one up every time he touches it. It's no coincidence the team performed much better offensively last night when he played less.

He had a very nice 2 point shot but otherwise he looked uncomfortable during the game. He appears uncomfortable when dribbling the ball or driving to the basket and seems only in a comfort zone when found beyond the 3 point circle w/the mindset of scoring.

And during last night's game one of the announcers mentioned that Booker made seven 2 pointers last season.

Buddy got the quick hook. Like you, I was surprised it was Mankin not Booker. I thought Mankin was solid. He was excellent at staying in front of his man and fighting thru screens. Probably earned himself mins at Tulsa.
