She will be making between 1.13 million and 1.43 million up through 2020.

Yes to Patty, no to Sherri.
I am assuming that I have misinterpreted this. Surely, the moderator on an OU women's basketball board, supposedly loyal to the OU program, did not take a stance against the coach. I know that can't be right.

You are right on, Boomer. Especially for a program that is a revenue drain on the athletic budget. However, they all lose money except football and maybe mens basketball.

Really. Very unusual. I'm not saying it's time to dismiss her from her duties or anything, but there is definitely a consistent digression taking place. My opinion...SCoale take a salary reduction along with the extension and replace a few assistants with some really great assistants.

The contract for Patty Gasso was extended to June 30, 2019. No mention of a raise per newsok.com. She did not have a good enough season, evidently.

Lon got what, a raise to 2.75 mil? Plus stay bonuses of $500,000. And extension to 2020.

I haven't been a moderator for several months. Mac is the moderator on this board. But you're right, moderators are free to post their honest opinions regardless of who objects. I have probably started more positive posts about Sherri on this board than anyone and I will continue when warranted. But to say she deserved a raise after a disappointing last year is just stupid. To reward low performance sends the wrong message. If she gets us back to the final four this year I will be all for giving her a bonus.

If the moderator of a board is negative towards the program or any aspect thereof, it becomes nothing more than a "b.....board." The role of a moderator should be to provide perspective, encourage discussion, and act in a manner befitting the standards of the university, if you wish to use OU in the title. If not, just label it a basketball board and leave it unaffiliated---no ties or loyalties to OU.
