If that’s even remotely true then it’s time for a coordinated campaign against moser. Make it public and visible. Make it clear the fans want moser fired. The 500 people that still go to games need to stay home.

I don’t think there’s any way he stays another year.
 
Denny has first hand experience on the resources required to have a basketball program performing at a high level with sustained success. The only way Moser gets another year is if Denny tells Harroz and Stephenson that OU is so far behind in resources (compared to Illinois) that it would be tough for any coach to succeed. The better route is more resources and a new coach, but I think it's a non-zero chance that he could be back.
 
If that idiot is on our bench next year I’m not going to watch a single game. It’s not enough that he’s a terrible coach. His spastic clueless antics on the court make me want to vomit. Running around clapping, yelling, throwing his head back in pain… I’m sure the players have tuned him out.

Haha. I think it’s not out of the realm of possibility that the new AD wants to 1. Give Moser more $$ to work with. 2. Let the buyout go down again and 3. Examine a full season with Moser for himself as opposed to just the last month of the season. It’s not like the new AD is an OU guy. I doubt he really knows much about the last four years with Moser. The stuff that we’ve been calling out for years may be a mystery to him. He may need a full year of failure to see it for himself.

It's his job to know this stuff. He is being paid handsomely to be the AD. He has six weeks to get up to speed before we get our ass kicked in the first round in Nashville.

Was disappointing, though not surprising, to listen to Gabe and Teddy not ask a single basketball question on the pod where they had probably 15 or 20 minutes to talk with Denny. Gabe wasted a few minutes talking about Denny's buzzcut, of course.

I am not disagreeing, just fearful that what you are saying could happen. If Denny isn’t capable of researching then someone needs to send him to this board where the most knowledgeable OU basketball fans reside. We can help him.

I highly doubt this. I could see it if the entire fanbase wasn't lost already or if this was like year 3 or something

Teddy is on record as wanting to roll out a team with no NIL just to fill in a spot in order to receive SEC revenue sharing. He's not for putting resources into basketball.

"I'd support Teddy Lehmans idea he had the other day. Get a local coach & some Oklahoma players that actually want to be SOONERS, not mercenaries you're paying to be here. Throw a team out there so you can draw the TV revenue money. Maybe after a couple of years they develop into something. If not who cares, your not dumping a bunch of money into a sport no one gives **** about."
