Smart with a double flop

Smart is pathetic, the only real contribution in the first 2 OT's was a pathetic flop for a foul. If I played against him every time he touched me I would act like I was shot out of a cannon.

You're forgetting his intangibles!

Thank goodness ISU pulled that out with the refs so against them.... Is that the back breaker for OSU?

Interesting that ESPN never showed a replay of the ISU turnover on the inbounds play.

I think so. I view this game like Waymen Tisdale night when we beat a texas team we had no business beating. It was Eddie Sutton night so the team was all ready amped up. Now they are back to the realization they go 6 deep and smart is a head case

And over at OP.com they're complaining about the officiating! Are you effing kidding me! L. O. L!

Give the Cyclones one point for every call against them that Fran or Mushberger (or both) found questionable, and ISU wins going away. They got SO many calls in their favor after halftime that they have no excuse. Nash should have fouled out in regulation.

seriously, how many times is Nash going to be able to lower a shoulder into a set defender before he gets called for a charge

It's truly remarkable how he is allowed to get away with that so many times during a game. You would expect him to pick up an offensive foul about every third time he touches the ball based on him lowering his shoulder every time, but he rarely gets called.

Did you all see him flop on the OSU inbounds pass at the end of 1st OT? Hilarious.

Ejim was fouled on the rebound slam. The canadian kid was fouled by Forte on his 3 pointer. I did not like not seeing a replay of that turn over at the end of the third OT. The tie up call was clearly a foul. I thought the refs gave OSU every chance to win that game and OSU simply isn't as good as ISU.

This pretty much sums things up. You're at home in the Big 12 and you get calls. No one wants to hear you complain about refs. Unless you're playing Kansas. Then they do actually get ridiculous calls.

I know this will be an unpopular opinion, but thought the call on Kane was correct...but it shouldn't have been a foul, just a violation. In essence, the offensive foul does the same as a violation because no free throws were awarded. Unfortunately you can't downgrade to a violation, can thank the rules committee for that.

I had more of problem with Nash on the next possession lowering his shoulder on Ejim or whomever was guarding him in the post.

I agree.

I didn't think it was a Flagrant 1, and even though Smart flopped, I think there was a foul there.
