SMU Baylor is like a high school game

If OU gets beat by this Baylor team, my face is not the only thing that will be red with embarrassment.

Why? They are likely going to have a top 10 offense in the country by the time the season is over. And we play them in Waco.

I'll be more upset if we lose to TCU. I don't think they will be as "good" as they were last year.

OU fans need to get over this mentality. College football is a different game than it was when most of you were growing up. Parity exists, and outside of Nick Saban, it has affected EVERYBODY in the college game.

Bob made some changes to help get us back to the top. Doesn't mean it'll happen in 1 year though.

I'm not saying Baylor will not be good again this year. I am saying the team that beat SMU, by a large margin in the end, is not nearly as good as they were last season. Their offense will continue to score, just not at the same rate as before. I wasn't the least bit impressed with their defense. SMU is picked to finish next to last in the AAC, yet they still managed to score 21 points against Baylor's defense.

If the Bears can score 21, OU should be able to double that number. The only question I have is can our defense do a better job than last year of controlling BU's offense? If they can, and I think that's highly likely after watching them struggle against SMU for two and a half quarters, I will be some kind of upset if we lose to them again.

There is no parity at the top. Never has been. The premier programs that consistently land top 10 recruiting classes win the title every single year. OU is supposed to be one of those programs. Nick Saban and Urban Meyer are simply executing with their resources. Baylor doesn't have the talent to beat OU when Stoops is doing his job properly.
