There's a new SHERIFF in town?????? Congratulations to Mike Carey and the Mountaineers.....and Tynice Martin......Most Outstanding Player !!! Now, make some noise in the NCAA Tourney !!!!! They took down the #3 team, the #2 team, and the #1 team........Congratulations from this Sooner fan.!!!!!!

We did the same thing in 2004, winning as a sixth seed. Of course, there were actually twelve teams in the Big Twelve.

63 Colorado 56
78 Kansas State 66
66 Texas 47

Then, we beat Marist 58-45 before being clobbered by Stanford, 68-43

We had the Maria and Dionnah Show. Caton was the inside game.

At least tonight there was a new sheriff in town..Good coaches on the floor, not afraid to get on the ladies when needed.

Congrats to the mountaineers! First sole conference champion in the Big 12 not named Baylor since 2010. WVU did tie Baylor for the 2014 regular season championship.

Wish them much success but less we forget the WVU team went 8-10 in the regular season and went 4-5 to close out the conference. The win in OKC could be an anomaly but for certain their is not a new sheriff in town unless it is named Texas and that is yuck too!

For certain I would hope none of OU's fans will now question whether Tynice Martin is a first team all conference player. Syb is always saying we as fans should not question Sherri as she knows infinitely more about basketball than do we. Likewise the conference coaches know infinitely more about basketball players than do the fans.

Not a new sheriff just yet maybe a deputy. Congrats to WVU on a great win but it was only for a couple of days. Try performing at a high level consistently for months for a conference title. Martin is the real deal and WVU will only go as far in the NCAA tourney as she will take them but I wish them the best of luck. Kim's stubbornness to switch to zone late is what cost is the game and it's not the first time she's done that. IMO, Kim doesn't have it anymore or just doesn't care. This year's team motto is Embrace the Moment. That doesn't sound like Kim expects Baylor to even make a Final Four. For years I've seen flashes of Conradt and Sharp in Kim the ways of old school coaching that just sticks with what we've always done and won't adapt to today's game like playing zone when at team is nailing threes! I'm a beginning to see the writing on the wall and it's not pretty. No way we make Elite 8 this year, lucky to make Sweet 16!

We actually won 4 games in the Big 12 Tourney. Texas A&M was the first game.
