Yes, they do play a fall schedule although I cannot find any schedule yet. Last year the fall schedule was released on Sept 9 and they began play during the end of September and played thru most of October. So, we should know something in next few days.

No question we do not get enough news on OU softball but with regard to commitments SoonerSports.com can make no comments about potential players until they sign their LOI. To do otherwise would be a violation of NCAA rules.

Hence information is minimal out of season as the media's focus is on football and basketball. Transfers are not normally identified by the university unless inquiry is made from the media or they are starters. While Quincy Russell has been removed from the football team for some time no mention was made by the university until Stoops was questioned by the media. Rumors/questions floated but rumors were all they were.
