Paige Parker K'd 15 batters in 11 innings while going 2-0 to claim Pitcher of the Week in the Big 12.

Lost a tough one today against Oregon State, 6-4. OU got to within one strike when they hit a 3 run walk off homer. That is like 3 walkoffs that Paige has given up. On the good side, Kelsey continues to look sharp, she pitched a solid game in a 6-2 win over Utah.

After having listened to the games, I'll bet Patty went the full count more often than not on those strikeouts or at least had 2 balls. She has a hard time getting in the first pitch for a strike and seems to be working really hard to get through innings.

Arnold was 10 of 16 this past weekend in Palm Springs to jump up to 17 for 33 for the season (515).

Both games will be on SoonerVIsion tomorrow (subscription) at 1:00 and 3:30. They will also be broadcast on KEBC (1560), which does stream.

With the men's game at 12:00, and the women's game at 11:00 AM, both on TV, ESPNews (univision 604, Univision 751), I'll be recording and switching a lot.

Jayden Chestnut gets the start for OU.

In the bottom of the second, Self singled with two outs, and Aviu put the first pitch that she saw at Marita Hynes Field over the left center field fence for a 2-0 lead.

In the top of the third, a hit batter and an error had runners on first and second. Montgomery threw to Arnold for a pickoff, and the umpire's out signal was so emphatic that he lost his balance and fell, injuring his leg. Took about five minutes of recovery before they could restart.

In the bottom of the third, Arnold singled to left, and Wodach hit one way out to left center, 4-0.

In the bottom of the fourth, Self led off with a double to right center, and Aviu pulled a home run down the right field line, way over the fence, 6-0.

OU with a walk-off 9-0 win over Dartmouth. In the bottom of the fifth, Knighten doubled to the wall in right center, stole third, and came home on an errant throw trying to get her at third. Wodach walked, and Erin Miller hit a two run drive over the right center field wall.

Four two-run home runs.

Brit Finney starts the second game against Dartmouth. She walked one, a bunt single putting two on. Then, she got the next three.

Nothing for OU in the first.

7-0 after three. KNighten hit yet another home run. Stevens starts the top of the fourth in relief of Finney.

Brit Finney gets the win. She allowed only a bunt single, walked two. 7-0.

Apparently, three innings isn't enough to get the win. They gave it to Stevens.
