I got the ESPN full court last year as there were a handful of games that weren't televised locally (primarily noncon). With the new contract and addition of Sooner Sports on Fox Sports Net (i.e. Foxnet OK), will those games be televised on that channel that aren't picked up by ESPN or the main Fox channel.

Thanks in advance!!

Just trying to see if ESPN Full Court will be worth it this year.

Good question. As an ESPN Full Court subscriber myself, I don't want to pay for anything not worth the money, although I may keep it anyway so I can watch other games I'm interested in.

However, a quick rundown on the Soonersports.com schedule (see link below) seems to suggest that the majority of OU's game this season will be broadcast on ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPNU. The remainder, at least in the regular portion of the season, will be on Sooner Sports TV and the Big 12 Network. Sooner Sports TV usually includes a local OKC station (last year it was KAUT, I believe), as well as ESPN Full Court. The Big 12 Network is typically an OKC station, a major network affiliated station I believe it was Channel 4 (KFOR) last year.

I didn't see anything about Fox. Maybe the new TV package with Fox doesn't kick in until next year. That's pure speculation on my part. I'm sure someone in the know will weigh in to confirm or correct what I've said.

The Sooner Sports network on Fox kicked in recently. I noticed it said Sooner Sports TV on some of the games. I do remember that typically those were available on local channels in OK, but now with the new deal with FOX I am not so sure. For instance, many of Bob Stoop's shows used to be carried on local channels and now are broadcast on Fox Sports Net OK. So it leaves me wondering......

The new deal with Fox will likely mean a switch to the Fox affiliated station in OKC. It's KOKH, Channel 43.

Found it. So pumped!!

Shows all of the very initial games (include exhibitions) being televised on FSN OK or FSN Southwest. Just saved myself some money. I have a strong feeling that if the game is not being picked up by one of the big boys that it will be televised on FSN OK or SW via Sooner Sports TV. Sure beats the LHN!!

Good information on hand. Thanks for the heads up!

It'll likely pop up, but this doesn't show up on Uverse in Dallas yet.
