Here is a problem I have with this years Basketball season. It has nothing to do with the team or the outcome of the season. It has to do with the fans. This team through two games has played with heart, passion, hustle, and effort to earn the support of the fans. So there is no need to put them down and turn against them. As a fan you should never turn on your team if you are a true SOONER you will be there no matter if they win or loose. When a team starts loosing you see who the real fans are, they don't start saying fire the coach and get rid of players, you support them, show up to the games cheer them on and never turn on them.
So my question is where are all the real SOONER Fans at? The last two games the LNC was not even half full. Show some love to your team and STAND UP and CHEER like real SOONERS. Also when people put this team down and saying they will be in last place, defend them and have their backs.

:clap :clap I will never understand understand why people come to games and then don't stand up and get loud. Especially this year; obviously, you care enough to be one of the few people to actually show up...so why not make some noise while you're there.

I remember the days when SoonerBounce would be up bouncing around in the LNC student section. :)

40,

Love your passion brother. My hope is that fans will give these kids a chance and get behind them. I am just so impressed with their togetherness as a team and how much pride they have in being Sooners. I also love the emotion that they show out there on the court. From Barry's roar after blocking that big shot to Captain Nick fist pumping down the court after finding Fitz for an easy two.

People need to realize that this team is completely different than last years. I know it will take some time but I hope they do soon.

Hopefully (a) some people take the time to watch some of our game at Kentucky and (b) we either pull off the stunner or at least play our hearts out and lose a close game. I realize it's somewhat of a pipe dream, but it sure is nice to think about.

As much as I get frusted with our fan base, bashing them isn't the answer. I really doubt calling out borderline fans is really going to cause them to rally and be super fans (unless you are of course Bob Stoops).

Also there is a difference between turning on the team and poitning out some flaws noted through the first few games.
