Sooners arrive in Anchorage

This little nugget was posted on the SoonerSports.com OU Blog last night:

About 15 hours after departing from Norman, the Sooners finally arrived in Alaska and were greeted with 30-degree temps and a few inches of snow. It's 12:15 a.m. CST and the squad is in the middle of practice at an Anchorage high school. Here's a good sign: Steven Pledger and Willie Warren were just lighting it up from 3-point range during competitive 5-on-5 play. The pair combined to go just 2-for-18 from behind the arc in Saturday's loss at VCU. Look for trip video Tuesday.

I bet we have decent support for OU up in Anchorage. We should have a good number of fans associated w/ the oil and gas industry living up there.
