Tiny Gallon, for example, was the highest rated. Then Trae. Blake G was rated higher. Maybe another one or two as well.

Surely Lusk isn't defining it by his time, but I am curious how he defines "modern recruiting era."

IIRC, Willie Warren and Drew Lavendar also ranked higher, so that's five. Add in Cam Clark, TMG, and Kam McGusty and they are all about the same spot as Fears, depending on the recruiting service.

Still- a BIG time get regardless.
