I like what I have seen of Darrion on video. I also like his attitude. I simply haven't seen enough of him to know for sure how he will fit in on this year's team, or more specifically how long it will take him to transition from a juco player with a lot of potential to be able to contribute at the D-1 level.

It sounds like Lon wants to use him at point and off guard. He looked pretty good in the highlights from practices. He seemed able to penetrate and create for others. He and Jordan should make for a very good point guard rotation. In my experience, most JUCO players take about half a season to find their legs, but he sure seems motivated. Maybe he can speed up that time line.
