Great point. Just another example of Joe C. being one of the best. There wasn't another Lon Kruger out there at the time, and we'd have rolling the dice with anyone else.

Lon was as sure a thing as it gets. He wins everywhere and has built numerous programs. Plus, he runs a clean program. We needed all those things and I am glad Joe found a way to get him to Norman.

Who knows what tomorrow will bring? I know for sure this is a good team that is fun and never gives up. So for now I am going enjoy that.

I got to see quite a bit of him while living in Vegas. The community loved him as much as his players did. He believes in his guys and is always teaching and when the time comes he lets them play and puts his faith in them. I can't stand coaches that seem to always interject themselves and make it all about them. He's a very good guy and his wife and family are also. I don't think OU could have made a better choice.

I always liked his teams because he put athletes out on the court. His teams play an exciting style and are fun to watch. It sort of reminds me of the sort of guys Billy and Tark used to get. I'm really looking forward to next year after that class is there and ready to play.
