I think Buzz got what he wanted. He ends up with more cash and a long-term deal to stay at Marquette. He was our (JC's) wet dream. A&M would've served that purpose if they had been first in line.

When a coach gets a bit of a (cult) following they end up with lots of leverage if they choose to exert it skillfully.
