Not only did Woodard make two steals that got us back in the game but he was also the one who picked the ball out of the scrum and threw it to Hield for the game winning foul.

That lad doesn't like to lose.

Woodard was absolutely heinous when it counted tonight. Holy crap.

I didn't think he played horribly. Regardless even if he struggles, he has to learn. He is our pg and he is a freshman.

FYI - he finished with 12 points, 2 assists, 3 TO, 1 steal and 1 rebound against a Big East Team. That is pretty good for a freshman. If he hits his 3 point shot, grabs one or two more boards and has 2 more assists, that is an outstanding game. I say that because I think he had a solid game and was a whisker away from an outstanding game away from home against legitimate competition.
