I was most pleasantly surprised by Gabbi and Peyton. Both exceeded my expectations.

My biggest disappointment was the scoring by Sharane. She finished 5th on the team in scoring at only 8.1 PPG. I fully expected she would be in the 15-16 PPG range this year and lead the team in scoring. She still had a good career and I'm glad she was a Sooner.

Gabbi and then Vivi.

Peyton faltered down the stretch in the most critical of junctures. She wasn't a factor. She wasn't a factor early either.

How we completely turned the season around at the start of the Big-12 season. That was fun.

I didn't expect much this year. I got much more than I had anticipated.

Yes, she was great for about 10 games in the weakest part of the season.

Gabbi and team play. This team went further than my expectations.

Gabbi was a delight - and ViVi can play - not much drop off when Vi comes in for KK.

Worst desapppointment: poor defense when it counted.

Our defense was a huge disappointment. Our zone was particularly bad. Stanford was bombing wide open threes on us until finally Sherri changed back to a man. We are losing our best defender in Sharane which causes concern for next year.

Vivi, Gioya and Peyton. Also, players looked tired last night. Maybe the freshmen and Peyton and Maddie hit that wall. Peyton had played a lot of minutes in conference season and she did not play last year, so maybe she it the freshman wall and Maddie too, for that matter.
