his biggest issue was being relatively out of shape 12.4% body fat ..

other measures of big 12 to note

alexander is only 6'8.5 but has a stupid 7'3.5 wingspan .. (5.8% body fat)

miles turner 6'11.5 in shoes 7'4 wing span


Kelly oubre 6'6.75 with crazy 7'2.25 wing span great for a guard

I have a feeling Myles Turner is going to have a DeAndre Jordan esque career, where he didn't look like much in college but is a star in the NBA. I'd love it if he fell to the Thunder at 14.

I think he is much more of a stretch 5 ... he will pick and pop ..


he is much more lamarcus Aldridge than Anthony davis

Myles Turner = Anthony Randolph. Don't think he's physical enough or has the motor. Gonna be a good player, even show all star flashes but never gonna be the player he could be with all those tools.

.5" taller, Turner shot 27% from 3, and they averaged the same amount of blocks (even though Turner played less). Both left after freshmen seasons, both extremely raw, randolph selected #14 about where Turner is projected.

turner is not that raw ... he has nba size is a great FF shooter .. and a very good ff shooter overall ... and he had a better block rate then willie caully stein ..

and at the combine Randolph measured 6'9 w/o shoes 6'10.25 in shoes .. and weighed 197

he was considered a possible SF ...

turner 6'11.5 in shoes 1.25'' and 238.6 much bigger a legit 4 or 5 ..


also turner shot over 50% from the field .. Randolph under and Randolph had no range at all .

I'm not questioning Turner's measurables, I'm questioning his assertiveness and post play. He could be a taller Ibaka or an Anthony Randolph. Idk I just think he will be closer to the latter.

80% ff shooter @ 6'11 1/2? There are not many of those. Also, one of the top five shot blockers in college. Even if he has no immediate back to the basket game, he's got a head start on D Jordan. He'd be a steal in the 13 to 15 range.

Back to Thomas.... I saw a box score of a 5 on 5 game at that NBA development event and Tkomas had 8 points, 6 boards, and 3 assists. It showed him as playing as a guard.

OK but not great.
