2 PTs at halftime? Wth happened to his dominating presence from early in the season? He is way better than this. Head scratcher.

He's not ready for big time conference play on the road. This ain't Houston anymore. We desperately needed him to be strong with the ball inside to stop their run and he just fluttered along.

If we want to compete in these games he has to step up otherwise we're going to see more of WVU and tonight.

Thomas was good at Houston but is an average big 12 player. I don't expect much from him going forward. What Thomas has done since start of big 12 play is what you can expect the rest of the year

What you're seeing is not Thomas's fault. I'll bet you can count the number of times our guards have passed to him in that half on one hand. Our inside out game has been practically non-existent, because our guards have gone back to jacking up shots from the perimeter.

On the flip side, KU is killing us by going inside on nearly every possession. When their bigs are bottled up on defense, they pass it back out for a wide open three. That's exactly what OU should be doing.

Thomas went soft with the ball 3 out of 4 possessions which resulted in turnovers allowing KU to go on that huge run to break the game open. He's 1-5 with 4 TOs.

At that point yes our guards turned into "I'm going to chuck up a 3 no matter what" like they always do when they're down but you have to call a spade a spade based on what we've seen.

Ada, TT had 4 turnovers in the first 5 minutes of the game. He's soft and not ready for big time college basketball away from the LNC yet.

But this team has alot of issues. Their biggest issue is that they, as a unit, lose their freaking mind when things go bad.

It's not like KU's bigs are overpowering though. Perry fn Ellis. Thomas should have the advantage over this guy.

I've been watching Thomas closely all year long. He is underachieving, and I think it's because of a couple of things, and they are kind of related.

1) This isn't Houston anymore, as was mentioned above. The competition is a lot different in the Big 12.

2) He is soft. He looks like a product of the James Dickey program. I have watched Houston all year, and Sampson has worked tirelessly to try and get that team to play harder. All of the holdovers from last year's team are soft and back down when things get difficult. That is exactly what I am seeing out of Thomas. His body language is almost identical to a lot of those Houston players. Oklahoma is simply a different level of basketball, and Thomas needs to man up and get tougher.

Hard for Thomas to do much when your team is shooting a ton of jump shots....or turning it over.

Cvangild... It doesn't matter. Thomas never posts up. He shoots jump shots himself or dribbles it off his foot.

Thomas has 6 turn overs and is 1 for 7 so far.

Thomas did not have a good game. Woodard has got to be better on defense. His deficiency killed us at the end of the game.

Thomas' lack of toughness killed us tonight. He played scared and timid all game. Both teams caught fire for one half, and Thomas manged a pathetic 4 points with 6 turnovers. Woof.

Yes Woodard didn't keep his man in front of him. But Woodard should not have been guarding Oubre at the end of the game.....that was a total mismatch. I was hoping that either Buddy or Isaiah would have picked up Oubre when they were getting back on defense.

He's looked lethargic all year to me. He takes possessions off, doesn't rebound when we need to, and settled for perimeter shots he can't hit.

I'm disappointed about Tay's play too and needs more energy. But when your guards act like Kruger handed out shooting coupons before the game and want to spend them...hard to get comfortable.
