I don't wont to be pessimistic, but I am fairly worried about the TCU game. Not that we will overlook them, but that they are 0-17 in conference play, and it is their last HOME game and chance to get ONE conference win. I'd be pretty desperate to win that game too, and usually things go the way of the desperate. We need to come out hard and put to rest any hope they might have. Can't let them hang around like in Norman this year or let them get out to an outrageous lead like last year. Boomer!

Well, Lax, none of us believe that. :)

In all seriousness, we can't overlook this game. It is a road game against a team playing for pride. It isn't a gimme. We are the much better team though.

I am also in the concerned camp. Nobody wants to go 0-fer. They will come to play.

They also may have quit on the season.

I have just been hoping that they would somehow get a win so this is not a possibility. But here we are. I agree that we have to come out early and pit titis game to rest. If we do that, we win big; but if we let em' hang around, I think we lose.

I think OU will win fairly easily. But in the back of my mind I keep remembering Texas Tech on the road two years ago when OU lost by 18, TTU's only win in conference that season.

This OU team is so much tougher mentally and physically, I can't see a repeat of that game in their future, especially against TTU.

TCU will be without Amric Fields due to a knee injury. One of their few bigs. It'll be close game, but I see OU finding a way to put them out late.

with this new info, I don't think it will be close

TCU hasn't played anyone to within single digits in over a month. That doesn't suggest to me a team that has a lot of fight left. I think Fraschilla plays Saturday.

I hope we take it to them, but I also don't see this as a gimme.
TCU beat us in the season finale last year, when we couldn't hit the broad side of a barn.
They're backed into a corner trying not to go 0-fer on the season, while our guys are already getting patted on the back for finishing second in the toughest conference in the nation.
TCU uglied up the game in Norman and played us close the whole way.

We HAVE to come to play. Need more focus than we had early last night.

Playing for the two seed and opposite side of bracket from KU for Big 12 is a big motivating factor. They should be fired up for this game and take care of business. Would rather face Baylor in the first game of the Big 12 than Ok State.
