Perhaps I missed this if it was previously posted, but Britney Brown and Abi Olajuwon are both on TCU's staff. One of my main criticisms of SC is that she has not done enough to get recent players on her staff. You had an opportunity to hire someone like Tina Thompson that landed at Texas a few years ago and you hired your son?!? SMH.

Speaking of former Sooners Dungee started in there 1st game, she had a decent game, but I think Ana and Madi will turn out to be better then her... Doumbia had a good game as well, and could play anywhere from the 2-4 for her size OU could have used her...

In two exhibition games Dungee started one game and played 21 minutes. Scored 10 points on 3-9 from the field and 2-5 BTA also had 4 boards. In the other game she only played 10 minutes, scored 16 points on 5-5 from the field, 3-3 BTA with 7 boards.

The question with Chelsea is with her propensity to transfer both in high school and college will she be at Arkansas more than one year.

I would say after having to sit out one year already due to transfer rules, she'd be less likely to want to do that again. I still think we could have been better to still have her with us, but if her attitude is or was the issue, I'm glad she left. I see Ramirez from TCU is there now, I think they may be pretty decent next season I'd not this season with all the talent they have.

Sounds very SC to me

Rice is losing to Texas A&M, but I see Mulkey hasn’t gotten into the game... I kept going back and forth over Mulkey when she was a Sooner, sometimes she would look good and other times she would look like a project, one thing for sure losing her has left us in a small hole in the post...

She never got into the game. Not sure if it was due to injury or what, but if she was available it would say a lot that she didn't get minutes.

Mulkey wasn't dressed to play and her right arm was in a sling. Not sure what the injury is or the severity of it.

Wilson who started at Arkansas but transferred to A&M had a good scoring game, she would likely be a starter on our team...

Wilson might start an exhibition game for OU. But, she was playing Rice, not exactly a powerhouse. In their 81-40 win over Oklahoma City in an exhibition, she was only 5 of 14 from the field with four rebounds in 23 minutes, this after averaging about 5 points at Arkansas as a freshman.

If she is a starter, A&M has fallen a long way. They may have since they lost some folks.

Not true, I thought wilson was more of an undersized 4 who would just jump over people in high school to score... but it looks like she has worked on her guard skills and could play the 2 or 3, I could see her challenge Ana for minutes... A&M has 2 players In Carter and 6’4 Johnson that would both be starting for OU...

I know this is going to come off as harsh but I have a feeling Nancy Mulkey will be a consistent underachiever as far as her college career goes. It doesn't look like she took the year to add any size, which she will need going against other college Bigs, and the fact that she's already hurt makes me believe that her body may not be equipped to handle the physicality required of a college post. Now this is just from my physical observation of her and comparing her to how delicate she was her freshman season, maybe I'm working. But if you compare Dungee and Mulkey I guarantee you done G will end up having the better career.

I tend to agree with you... maybe Mulkey feels the pressure of playing basketball, because she’s 6’9 and because her mom and aunt played... maybe she will just give Rice a few spot minutes, if she stayed at OU I think she would have really been depend on and that’s just not what she wants...

Exactly what was not true. From the D1 site:

http://stats.ncaa.org/team/31/stats/12500

Wilson's freshman year:

Games: 26
Games started: 0
Minutes: 411.0
FGM: 48
FGA: 167
FG%: 28.74% Wow.
3pt FGM: 21
3pt FGA: 74
3 pt %: 28.38% Stunning.
FT: 8
FTA: 12
FT%: 66.67
Pt: 125
PPG: 4.81 I believe I gave her credit for 5.
OR: 19
DR: 57
TR: 76
RPG: 2.92
ASS: 40
TO: 55
ST: 12
BLK: 11
PF: 35

Meanwhile, I took the 5-14 vs OCU straight from the A&M website. What part of that screams that she would start over Llanusa who was runner up as Big Twelve freshman of the year? She had a good game against a weak Rice team. Period.
