Curious what you mean. Not sure if he'll be a good player or not, but a straight A student who will be around four years. Seems to be a great kid.

I know we cannot offer everybody, but if the kid is good and is a legacy you would think there would be interest from both sides. The Newsok.com article made it sound like Tre said no interest from OU.

The article also talks about how he changed schools this year from Edmond Santa Fe to play for PC West. I know the family probably moved, but I find this all strange for moving schools to play sports.

Sante Fe is having parent issues! Imagine that. They've got a good coach.

You got that right. SF seems to always have issues with parents and hoops.
I hope that coach tells ever parent that complains 'this is how it is'. They ran off the last coach.

I have no idea how good he is but I bet he really understands the game with his dad and grandfather being coaches. That might be tough as a kid. You make a play and it works but either your dad or grandfather says yes but you should have done X because Y.

My opinion on his skill level.

My opinion pretty much mirror's OU's.

That is why they feel so mistreated.

I think he is a lot like Cole. Great kid, won't play much if at all.

I don't think he is anywhere close to the level OU has right now with Spangler, Lattin, Thomas, Manyang.

Good move by Travis Ford. You don't need 12 all-stars. There is nothing wrong with having one player who understands the game, has a great attitude, a straight 'A' student, and who is a step or two up from a walkon. I wish the young man all the best...his dad was a great representative for OU basketball.
