I think he is a lot like Cole. Great kid, won't play much if at all.

I don't think he is anywhere close to the level OU has right now with Spangler, Lattin, Thomas, Manyang.

Solomon was a top 100 player last year?

I guess we see if my opinion or there opinion is right. Helped the kid get on Faith 7 game but I don't think he could ever play at OU.

I am not sure he plays for OSU ever either.

Some may not know this but Tubbs thought Terry Evans was. Borderline D-1 player and primarily gave him a scholarship due to his father. Then he watche,d him practice against mookie his redshirt season and thought he made a big mistake, terry would never contribute at this level. Terry became and still is the career assist leader, career 3 pointers made, career 2 in steals and a top 15 scorer at OU. Tre may be a late bloomer. I wish home well but for two games a season

That's an excellent point, Denver. I had forgotten that Terry was basically an afterthought when Billy recruited him. After Mookie moved on to the NBA, Billy brought in a top juco named Smokey McCovery to replace him. Evans basically beat him out and became a 4-year starter. Due to grades, McCovery only lasted one year at OU.

The media around Oklahoma thought that Evans was better than Bobby Hurley after Terry had some great games for us. We played them the next year and it was clear that Hurley was much better. However Terry was a very good player for us his 4 years.

A local basketball guy told several of us that OSU hasn't actually offered Evans.
