Mulkey sounds like she will be a difficult matchup...

Patterson sounds like she can be Jefferson(Uconn) good, I hope we can land her...

As funny as this may sound there is a lot of truth to it....there is about 85 percent chance that Patterson will shock everyone and go to the university of Houston. Remember i told you first

I also heard that as well. Did not know if it was any truth to it tho.

Yes she is.....she has offers from just about all the big 12 schools. She plays for dfw elite so you probably won't here of her.

I would ask about Chennedy Carter but I think she plays for DFW elite as well.
 
Kiana Williams is a player who is getting a lot of attention. How good is she?

She is really good but don't look for her to do a lot of scoring.

There is another kid i got a chance to see from Cy ranch. Her name is arianna Whitfield. She is an aggressive pg to keep an eye on.

I can see it, she would have to sit a year behind Ortiz if she picked OU...
 
Hey Skilledserv! I live down in the San Marcos area. Really do not see that much competition until the state tournament in Austin or San Antonio. I've seen Dungee play numerous times with SA Finest and she played really well with them. Has a great basketball body with upper body strength but I have not seen her play in over a year since then. Do you think it is the AAU team she was on before that limited her? I have read where she was with the Cy fair team at one point. Just wondering because I know you will give an honest answer.

I'm very familiar with some Oklahoma talent as well, what are your thoughts on Llanusa's game? Wilson , Johnson, Roberts, if you have seen any of them play.

Also, Bethany Franks was a name very popular on this board at one time. Anyone Know her where abouts and where we stand? A lot of talent in 2017 and 2018 around Oklahoma, Texas, and Arkansas.
 
I've watched Roberts play 3 times. She can score, no question about that. But, she is a step slow, IMO. She cannot guard a player like Llanusa. I think it would benefit her to lose 20-25 pounds but still don't think she can guard quick players.

Will be interested to see what skilledserv thinks about her.
 
There is a lot of competition for Patterson, Morris, etc. I look for us to go after Addison Ryan instead.

I'm not inferring that Addison is not a good player but, we generally have more success going after players the elite teams are not offering.

Also Addison would come in right after Ortiz and have a shot at the starting point guard spot, unless Dunggee can play some point.
 
Patterson has been to OU several times on her own, once official. Lauren Cox had too. So, it may or may not mean anything. But, Flower Mound to Norman is a quick trip. Houston to Norman is an all day affair.

We are looking at several guards, from points to wings. We seem to do OK at point---DRob, Gabbi. Sherri knows guards.
 
Addison Ryan is more of a off guard like Peyton little. I highly doubt we are recruiting her at the Point Guard spot.

Dungee is not a point either. More of a solid 3.

I trust Sherri in whoever she brings in to replace Ortiz or play along side of her.

Good info, I though she was a PG. She would compete with Llanusa then.
 
I see Dungee as being somewhat like Gioya, except that she is a bit stronger. Reminds me somewhat of Aquonesia Franklin, except a bit taller and can shoot.

Was there a pure point in 2002? Is our "pure point," Gabbi,the only one on the team that acts like a point guard? We have a point forward. At times, Peyton has brought the ball up court. Dungee, Llanusa, and someone like Gabbi might be on the court together. Who would bring the ball up?

Patterson has not been on any official visits at all.....
